Last Time

Today was the last time that we would have to go to Adana to walk Duke and leave without him. Next Saturday he comes home for good.

He was his usual good natured and loveable self this morning, until the thunder came. He didn't like that.

The brief rain made the air feel cooler and the cars look a lot dirtier. It didn't last long and so we headed for the beach in the afternoon for a couple of dips in the cool sea.

In other news, I was asked to become the Secretary of Adana, the dog rescue centre, to look after, among other things, their membership list. Apparently I get a seat on the Board too. Actually, I think they just want an IT techie to fix their databases! But it feels good to be part of something so worthwhile.
