Common Green Bottle Fly

We've been out to lunch with my Brother in law, nephew and nephew's partner, and we've had a jolly good time too.  One of them has been putting on weight and so their solution is for them all to start paying more attention to eating a more healthy diet.  Today none of them had a pudding,  but Jack and I certainly didn't feel obliged to join in with them. :-))

After coming home the sun came out for a while and I spent time in the garden looking for and blipping insects;  I know they're pretty awful creatures, but you have to admit they are a gorgeous colour.
