Fabulous trip to the Royal Academy for their Summer Exhibition, something of an annual event for us. Lots to see, lots to stir up the thinking. The definition I love best about art is that art is to ….. comfort the disturbed and to disturb the comfortable. Today did that!

The ensemble “Watching” caught my eye. I couldn’t figure out who might be watching whom, so two versions of the same photo, one as an extra. And the second extra is of a painting that got me thinking. It says “Art makes children powerful”. Perhaps it might say:
Children make art powerful
Or
Children make powerful art
Or
Powerful art makes children
…..
