Show and Shine Car Show

Today was a display of wonderful old cars at Shore Acres park. On the left was two of my favorites for the day, then I saw a For Sale sign for a 1932 (the year I was born) Ford Roadster and if you are wondering, the "thing" on the window of the bottom car is a "air conditioner". When our oldest daughter was going on three, just before Annie was born, we traveled from California to Key West, Florida and had one of these type air conditioners on the car. We put water and ice in it and the air blowing through blew in cool air. It wasn't the most efficient, but was better than nothing. It was fun to see it on an old car. Had never seen one since that trip. Made for a fun day with our kids!! Stopped at the DQ on our way out for lunch!
