M and I arrived home again today.

Our day began with a delicious breakfast on an outdoor patio, followed by a trip to the Inn wine shop. Let's just say we treated ourselves and brought some wine home to celebrate our 10th.

We arrived home in time to take the kids to our local Oktoberfest, which we haven't missed in many years. There is nothing quite like the feeling you get when you see the excitement on your child's face. Especially when that excitement is to see you.

Oktoberfest followed by a run through the sprinklers. Here is Baby S on his maiden voyage....

All in all,, what an amazing trip. Flat tire and all. As M said, "it was like we were dating again." Such needed time together and away from everything. We will definitely be returning to that part of the state sometime. And of course, a huge thanks to Nana...this really wouldn't have been possible without you. The kids are going to miss you to pieces.
