Prey...
An early start, out to East Lothian to collect the SBG, then on to Cupar.
Another fun day at the Scottish Deer Centre with Iain and the kids.
We got to feed the deer, tried (in vain) to see the red fox, spent ages looking for the elk (eventually found them), and got lucky when we arrived at the bear enclosure, to find the keeper had just been round, delivering some fruit - so we spent ages watching the 2 brown bears enjoying oranges and some pineapple. They were so close, we could smell the oranges!
The lynx was spotted, as were the Scottish wildcats and wolves. The otters, on the other hand, were hiding.
We got a prime spot for the bird of prey display, and weren't disappointed. Otis, the eagleowl, flew onto our table several times, and, if we'd been stupid enough, we could've touched him......we weren't and didn't.
Home, pizza making, bed.
My ankle is playing up again, so more ice packs and elevation.
