Winter rose

Not a hellebore, but a real rose, surviving virtually alone in the middle of winter.  What a star :)

And talking of stars, Peter Burling is too.  I missed the beginning of Americas Cup race 1 today as my alarm didn't go off (well - I didn't set it properly) but LB obviously had his wee ear to the ground and asked to be let out what turned out to be about half way through the first race.  

Great to see Team NZ maintaining their stranglehold, but things changed a bit in the second race when Mr Spithill from Oracle pulled one back.  Burling is so cool under pressure though (or at least, he appears to be) that I'm left believing that tomorrow will be different.  Certainly much closer racing today though.  Exciting stuff!

.......and that was the weekend!  Poof.  Gone :(
