Walk for Joe

CorinthianColumn kindly arranged a memorial walk last year in memory of Joe my husband - it seemed a fitting tribute as he loved walking and just being outdoors. Today 19 of us did the walk again - it is a year since he died and it has passed so quickly. We were very lucky with the weather and there were lots of events happpening along the route, so it made for an interesting walk. Main photo is of the lovely cafe and bandstand in Roberts Park, Saltaire. Extras are of the "piano barge" (fascinating door set up!!) and the locks and flowers as we neared the end of the walk (finishing in the pub of course!). Some of us then moved on to our local, and stayed rather longer than perhaps we should have! Feel fine this morning, although the arthritic feet are aching!
