3rd Birthday Party
H's birthday isn't until Wednesday, but we had family over today for a little birthday party. Can't believe she's 3 already! She's still a petite 3 year old though as her party dress was 18-24 months and was the first time she's worn it! It didn't last long though as it was swapped for the Rapunzel outfit that Auntie E bought her - it was a definite hit!
She was super excited when she woke up this morning to find we had put Tangled birthday banners up, moved the table and put a Tangled tablecloth on it, had stuck streamers to the ceiling and blown up lots of balloons. Hubby took H to Waitrose to collect her birthday cake whilst I made the food and got organised. We played a couple of party games - Pin the Nose on the Clown (which H cheated at and won!) and Pass the Parcel (which cousin L won - not rigged at all ;-0) This resulted in them having a Rapunzel Bride doll each.
H was a very lucky girl and in addition to the Rapunzel outfit, she also received a Rapunzel doll, a Flynn Rider doll, her first Barbie doll, clothes, Tangled cup and plate, Rapunzel wig, money and sweets. And with her actual birthday yet to come, I think the excitement could be too much!
She was shattered by the end of the day, and went to bed sharp tonight which was a relief as it's been a struggle this week! O had a good day too and enjoyed the busy house (and tugging at the dangling decorations!)
