More Storking

I thought it was time to Blip 'my' storks at the local shopping centre. This year there is only one youngster. Normally there are 3 or 4 but I don't know if there were more to start with because I neglected them this spring in favour of our Redstarts family at home. This baby is looking pretty big - maybe is ready to fledge or has just had all the pickings. It looks like it has attitude, anyway, as an only chid often has.
Hubby's birthday today. He requested steak so we cooked it on the BBQ and I made a cake which a friend gave me the recipe for. It was a sponge roulade but filled with a cheese mixture as well as the raspberry confiture. It was delicious despite the sponge collapsing when I took it out of the oven.
