Marc Bolan

Today is the 35th anniversary of the death of Marc Bolan. At the scene of the accident (in Barnes, West London) is a shrine/memorial area. The infamous tree (background centre) is festooned with balloons, flowers, and feather boas.

I've not been here before so I don't know how much of this stuff is due to the recent annual pilgrimages, but there were a lot of people around today in the short time I was there.
