Prickly?

Poppy.  Just a common cornfield poppy which has appeared in a small patch of ground I cleared earlier this year.  I have read that poppy seeds can lie dormant in the soil for up to fifty years.

Jamie made it to wheelchair basketball this morning .... I could have slept all morning :-/  This afternoon, after doing some essential chores - how does a cat have so much hair they can afford to leave it all over the place - I watched Royal Ascot on the TV, not always with my eyes open.

Definitely an early night tonight.
