January in Summer
It's been a wild day. Gales have been blowing and heavy showers most of the day. The sun came out briefly a few times, but it didn't last.
Up early, it was dry and managed to get out for a bit. Headed up north for a run, but the rain started by then and wasn't able to get out for a walk anywhere. Stopped off for a cuppa at the Breiwick cafe. The afternoon was spent in Brae. There's been various visitors to the caravan, and also went for a look at the Brae Building Centre. It's been a quiet evening so far, poor Sammy want out but still raining!
The rain didn't stop the tourists touring around Shetland, it was busy along the roads. This old Triumph was zooming abiut up north. Not sure if it's a local car, or visiting for the classic car show this weekend. Looking over the cliffs at Eshaness, with the seas and skies looking more like a day in January!
