Allotment

My mission to photograph Open Gardens proved successful today with an open allotment day in Raynes Park. There were few gardeners in attendance sadly but the scene was like the Garden of Eden.

I met a man building a chickenwire cage around his cherries. I asked if you was build a rabbit proof fence, but he told me it was to keep the bears out. That's south London for you!
