Evidence of lots of tree-felling along the track in the forest at Balmaha when we walked there this morning.

Unfortunately, the lovely forest paths where I used to walk Dornie and Shuna have either been destroyed by the said forestry work or allowed to become totally overgrown and impassable.

One can but hope that the paths will be restored once the forestry work is finished, but I'm not going to hold my breath... 

Disappointingly chilly and overcast for much of the day.
