The herbarium in St Valery Sur Somme

We went for a wander around the medieval part of the town early this evening. The streets are all very pretty with lovely old half timbered houses, cobbled streets with flowers, either herbs or hollyhocks growing along the verges. We found an herbarium which had been established by nuns behind an old stone wall, part of the battlements around the town.
So colourful and peaceful.
