Once in a lifetime

After a busy day we walked to the Cambridge Botanic Garden to see a tree flowering for the first time in 30 years. Emmenopterys henryi is described as "one of the most strikingly beautiful trees of the Chinese forests" and, thrillingly, it has exploded with delicate white flowers perfumed with a lemon scent while we're here.
