Cello maker

This evening I attended a fund-raising concert in Drymen Village Hall that showed off the wealth of musical talent within the village.

Not only were the talented musicians (3 violinists, a cellist and a keyboard accompanist) local, but they played on instruments that had been crafted by a local couple, and a 2nd year university music student sang songs composed by a young graduate of music composition.

This is Marion Bennardo with the cello that she made using sycamore, spruce and maple. The sound it made was absolutely beautiful!
