Another day of waiting

But no TV this time.

We went through to the hospital to see R this afternoon. She had a disturbed night with hourly obs, but got some sleep this morning. She has been out of bed and doing short walks to get /keep all the systems working, but is still in considerable pain.

They hope to send her home tomorrow, or transfer her to Doncaster when the ward closes for the weekend. We have discussed the ways of getting her home from wherever she ends up whenever she is discharged. Not easy or helped by the fact that I don't like driving in strange cities on my own. But we will sort it out.

We met up with P when he arrived after work to visit.

The girls spent the visiting time at their home, so were collected, then walked and fed when we got back to our house.

Dinner for us came curtesy of the local Chinese takeaway........very tasty. Sufficient leftovers to do me tomorrow evening when B is away!!!
