Starling

Playing about with a different angle on the feeder today. Same birds, different perspective. Starling looks a bit fed up but I don't know why as there was plenty of bird seed and it was a nice sunny, breezy day.

We've changed our holiday plans so instead of driving up the A9 to Brora and thence to Westray we find ourselves with some unexpected time to catch up with a few domestic and other tasks. I took the car to the garage to get something fixed in the driver's seat. That was a few thousand steps there and back. I also spent a bit of time moving stuff around in the garden. Completely wrong time of year I know but nothing in the garden is a prima donna so it'll all recover quickly from the shock. I hope.

A year since the Brexit referendum. What a mess. And what a waste of time, energy and money trying to negotiate it when there are so many pressing issues which could really have used that time, energy and money.
