Packed

Awoke to a very wet morning in Glen Rosa, so we just packed up and headed into Brodick in search of a coffee and bacon roll. Unfortunately we had to chill out for an hour before any were available. Thankfully in that hour the sun came out so we had a lovely wander down to the beach, and watched a heron catch a fish.

While on the boat the weather really closed in, which is always exciting with the children on the ferry. Train back home passed very quickly with me reading The BFG to Rosie the whole way home.

Tonight after sorting the kit and drying the tent we popped into town for dinner.
