The Wood from the Trees

Last day in Glen Affric with a long walk in the smirr, lot of work being done on hydroelectric schemes, making paths very muddy. Stayed in Eco Hut in Cannich. Will remember north west highlands for primroses (yellow) which were everywhere and the abundance of mosses and lichens, including pixie cup lichen.
