A new friend

Alarm set at 04:45 and we were at the barge for Fraser Island on time.

We have had a magnificent day at Fraser Island.  We are so very tired now though as travelled back to Noosa tonight.

Back to today though, this huge fella joined me outside the ladies today!  He was about a meter long!!

Loved driving the beach.  Loved seeing the early migration of Whales out to sea...we caught a few glimpses of the end of their tails splashing back into the sea.  We saw huge birds.  We saw aircrafts taking off.  We saw people fishing.  We saw people collecting (assumed) crabs.  We loved driving in the sand.  Loved the bouncy off roading.  Proper 4x4 stuff today.  Loved it all.  Tired...but now we must work for a few hours.
