Preparing ...

It was decided that we would have a Finishing Party before we actually finished! The reason for this was that E, the owner, wanted to be able to show people a finished flat and one that isn't finished. As it happens, a tenant from a top floor flat was offered a job abroad and so we would have had an empty flat anyway, but we didn't know this so timed the party for the finishing of the penultimate one. people to view.

Today we were doing a few little jobs, like getting the carpet fully laid, giving the back door a quick top coat ( I'll be giving it another couple yet ) and polishing up the brass letter box. Also, the new door numbers had arrived so they were quickly added to each door.
