End of an era!

We no longer have our mail delivered by a postie riding a cycle. The postie riding a bike around the towns and cities have always been part of everyday life as long as I can remember.  But now he/she darts around the neigbourhood in one of these electric vehicles.  There's no doubt the mail gets covered much quicker but I can't help but wonder how many less people it takes to deliver all the mail across town now.
