Warm and vibrant.....

....is what's needed for a bitterly cold and wet winter's day, the humble polyanthus never disappoints.

I was lucky to get this shot early this morning before the rain arrived and the wind picked up. It sits on my veranda giving much pleasure as I look out upon a rather dull and dark garden. But not for long as I see the camellia's are almost bursting forth, Cinnamon Cindy being the first.

Hoping to catch up this weekend with blip now that things are falling into place, school holidays is not a good time to decide to have a break away.
