Modern Travellers

Work day out today.  8.45am taxi, 9.45am train down to King's Cross.  Tube to Edgware Road and then a walk to Paddington.  The tube wasn't going to Paddington owing to the recent London fire investigations.  Then train from Paddington to Reading and a five minute walk to the offices.

I then got to see a lovely one hour explanation of Accounting before I did a software architecture presentation.  Finally escaped at half five, train back to Paddington, walk to Edgware Road, tube to King's Cross and then train back up to Leeds, taxi home, arriving home at 10pm.

I was slightly worried I'd miss my train back up to Leeds, it was a tight run thing.  I barely had time to grab some food at King's cross and it was helpful that the train was about 3 mins late leaving!

It was a very long way for not very much talking, but hopefully it'll be worth it in the end!
