packing on the pollen

I love these oversized, fuzzy, orange striped bees. They are so slow and lumbering, I have actually reached out and touched one on its back without disturbing it. And because they are so big and slow, they are easy to photograph!
In extras, I posted a shot of one of the roses that grow by the house, fully unattended by me. The previous owners left them behind, and it is a happy surprise to me whenever they bloom.
