Cycling tree
Last night, we went to Ilkley to watch the cycling event. We had an ice cream sitting on the walled lawn outside the church, waiting for Liz (I'd been looking forward to that all day). Then we took a wander around the course. It's just that we didn't get very far.
Filmore & Union have a decked seating area in pole position. It was packed. But, just as we approached, where should a group be leaving? Only the best seats in the house right on the front! And we we were hungry! Liz had only had cheese and biscuits in her rush to get over and we, ummm, well, we'd only had dinner.
So we sat down and had dinner (again), whilst watching the cyclists burn their calories racing by. Very civilised it was too!
I waited until this evening to take Little Dog out and enjoyed the last of the light before the next batch of weather comes through overnight tonight.
This scene is with my big lens quite a way away. I liked the little row of trees and worked out that they're lining the road I regularly cycle with the blip thumbnail being the tree blipped in another light in winter last year.
