High and Dry!

With the weather forecast in mind we headed for the heights of the extinct volcanoes of the Auvergne region.  The cool breeze at the top was more than welcome.  The wild flowers were wonderful!  There were several hang gliders at the jumping off point, but not Del Boy!  We could just make out the black volcanic twin towers of the Cathedral in Clermant Ferrand four or five miles away.  28 degrees on top and 39 at ground level!  Thank goodness for air con and electric fans!
