Repair

Managed to rip the retaining plate off the new winch handle while sailing on Tuesday due to the part being made of very soft plastic and my ham-fistedness.
So using my dad's lathe I made a new spindle and fitted a square brass plate on the end.
18 years after he passed on I am still making stuff from the brass, aluminium and sometimes steel stock that he had.
One day I will have to will have to buy some for myself.
