Took myself East for the morning. A pretty decent 51 mile ride. I was thinking I'd take a photo of the sea on the way home and call it 'Mer' and be a bit French just for the heck of it, but then I kept my phone in my jersey pocket and never took that photo after all. I did, however, like the look of this field on the road up from Kingston.

And then an afternoon at my youngest daughter's school - first a show on the Victorians that her whole year have been working on, and then later seeing what her drama club have been up to. All very enjoyable.

Tonight we'll see, I hear there's a film festival in town...
