Cathedral Crucifix

Today I was an honor to attend the ordination of 5 priests at The Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in the Archdiocese of Detroit.  It was very moving to see these men walk in deacons and walk out priests. One of the men served as a transitional deacon at my parish and has become a friend over the last couple of years.  It was a treat to be among the first to receive a priestly blessing from him.  While I didn't take any photo's during the mass, choosing instead to be a part of the experience, I did wander around inside the cathedral for a few snaps afterward.  This is the crucifix suspended over the altar.
