We have been watching this ingenious building with oddly-placed windows go up on a tiny little triangle of land. Some call it the Dr Seuss Building. Note the traffic and general congestion. Now they have started to paint it, and it certainly stands out. Meanwhile hundreds of activists converged on the State Capitol yesterday to urge rent controls necessary as Portland housing becomes increasingly affordable only to very wealthy people.
