A Grey Midsummer

After the sunshine of yesterday, a much greyer day for the summer solstice, with rain in the evening. And a metaphorical grey day too. L went up to Aberdeen for a family funeral and in the afternoon I got a message with the saddest possible news about someone I used to work with at the bank. RIP D.
