Feral pigeon
One of the things that is really good about this current job is the great variation in tasks; in the one day and between days. It is also one of the hardest aspects, because there is much to do and a need to change approach. Such was today.
Mid afternoon S texted me to say that her mother was being discharged from hospital (she was admitted yesterday with oesophageal spasm). Fortunately, all that had been planned was done, I could leave, and I had taken this photo while walking from one building to another on the Auckland Hospital site.
