Hot Monday!

Phew! it has been so hot today! I had to go into town this afternoon and people were wearing different clothes, walking slowly, looking a little pink!
Coming out of the air-conditioned bank, the heat hit me as it does in other, warmer countries! 
And when I got home, our tree surgeon arrived to cut the box hedge in the back garden! It was about 4 pm, the hottest time of the day!
