A Long Long Day

There's something special about a Solstice be it summer or winter.... any chance to have fun and celebrate the mysteries of sun and earth. My day began at 3 am and the main shot was taken in the middle of Deansgate .Note, no traffic and a wonderful calm . Up then to Deansgate Metro Station which was the best vantage point .The sky over the GMex looked lovely (extra 1) Cloud did not spoil the day . Then full daylight and extra 2) shows a detailed shot of Deansgate , Knott Mill and the Rochdale Canal. Home for a coffee .No going  to bed.This was to prove a wonderful day .Every single minute of it Very sure I'll sleep tonight..Happy Summer Solstice to all .
