Orange

This beautiful butterfly looks a bit battered, but I couldn’t resist orange on orange. A Red Admiral I presume.

And Orange Hawkweed I think. A lovely wildflower, but here in the garden it is supposed to change into a weed.
  
I think we will call it a flower in our garden, if it attracts beautiful butterflies. Oh and it is that awful thing – non-native. They seem to hate it America and New Zealand. Poor thing. We’ll give it a home, besieged as it appears to be.

8.30 this morning everything suddenly went very dark, it was quite eerie. Then there was thunder and a lot of rain. Then it stopped and was sunny and it is now as hot as it was.
