First Dahlia of 2017

Still hot!  Very, very hot!!  Cooler temperatures are forecast though so I'm counting down the hours!

On the positive side of the heat, it has helped speed up quite a few plants in the garden! The first of my home grown sweet peas have flowered as has this Dahlia 'Bishop of Dover' which I purchased at a plant sale at the gardens of Ulting Wick earlier in the year!
