Whenever.......

.......the sun comes out and the temperature gets past about 10 '  ( a heatwave in Scotland !! :-D )    I open my windows to let some of the stygian gloom escape from my hovel .
And all sorts of flying creatures .....bees,wasps,butterflies ,ladybirds ,flies etc......find their way in and promptly forget which is the open  window pane and have to be rescued and sent on their way .

But todays visitor was altogether more beautiful and ,exotic and was a wee charmer :-)
Not only did she pose dutifully on my geraniums ,but she  daintily stepped onto my fingers and allowed me to carry her back out to the sun :-)
I felt very privileged :-)
