Masterpieces from the collection

As I entered the National Gallery, I could not stop myself and exclaimed "Jayzus, that's a cool tattoo".

As in "gosh, what a fine piece of needle work"

As well as "blimey, the bearded 33.33% of the Holy Trinity does make a nice subject for a tattoo".

This was the first of many masterpieces on display. And the new director of the National Gallery, in her infinite wisdom, has decided to review the strict no photography rule that was in force until now. Since the beginning of September and until the month of December, photography (without flash) will be permitted throughout the museum.

I sincerely hope that they then decide that the trial is a success and allow photography (without flash) on a permanent basis.
