Wroxton Abbey
The camera club's last session before the summer break and a trip out to Wroxton Abbey, a Jacobean house just north of Banbury, built on the foundations of a dissolved abbey. Now used a a campus for an American University (Fairleigh Dickson) with some of their students studying here for a term.
The building started in the early 1600s and carried on into the mid 1700s. The grounds are open to visitors in daylight hours, no charge, no facilities, but well worth a visit. Park in the village near to the duck pond!
The main image is a view towards the house from woodland, two extras, one of a tower folly and one of the house across the just cut lawn. Hazy sunshine after a hot day so I was experimenting with neutral density graduated filters.
