East
Strictly speaking nor'east. On the shortest day. So didn't need to be out and about till 6.45am and then I had to wait for a little while. I knew the tide would be in by the saltwater baths and a catamaran was moored there. A little ruffle on the water but no birds until later when the sun got up.
Not freezing cold either. Just needed a puffer jacket and jeans over my nightie to make me respectable. Not that I saw anyone else. So lovely down there.
An extra showing a sliver of a moon and Venus, the other a more smudgy take on the dawn looking over the ruffled water.
Thankyou for yesterdays stars and nice comments.
