Where have all the pigeons gone?

They have been few and far between.  I did manage to find a standard Hildasrose's garden pigeon this afternoon but he has to be an extra because my favourite bush is in flower and my new little piece of equipment managed what I think is a lovely little shot.  But then I am biassed.  So here you have the Philadephus halfway down the garden with a longish zoom and some lovely light.  I am going to keep this as evidence of what this can look like when it is not pruned just before it is about to flower...
