Growing Up Revisted

Another one of those opportunistic blips!

I was in the front bedroom this morning playing the game of trying to make the suitcases come in under weight when movement in the shrub outside the window caught my eye. There was a small family of Goldfinches preening in there. I counted two adults and four little ones. The little ones, as you can see from this photo have their adult feathers coming through in much the same way that the young Bullfinch I blipped a couple of weeks back had. It's not super sharp as it was taken looking down through double glazing and not straight through.

Full of that night before nervous energy that comes before you go on holidays now. We have one very long day ahead tomorrow. No idea where and when and we will get WiFi whilst over there, so blips may come in spurts!
