Sunday morning

Linda's plan was: a 14 mile run for the three of us (including Elaine) from Blackheath to Tower Bridge along the Thames Path on the north side of the river. Mrs Soup and Erling came alone on their bikes (the support team). It all worked out well. A few aches and pains though, and the joy of carrying the bikes up from the Greenwich foot tunnel - as the lift wasn't working. We were swept into the Cycling To Beat Blood Cancer Bikeathon which swirled around our route.

The Smoked salmon and scrambled egg breakfast at the end was very tasty : ) Dave didn't seem to be too bothered that we had said we would be back at 11:00 and arrived at 11:30...

Colin and Lauren have just moved into a place round the corner from our breakfasting-spot, so we will be dropping heavy hints about house warming presents and post-run coffee and company as the winter draws on.
