Summer son

Andy Murray has achieved amazing things this summer: Wimbledon final, Olympic gold and silver medals, US Open champion.

We wanted to show our support so drove up to Dunblane this morning for his homecoming parade. Cars were strewn across the grass verges a mile from town so we knew a few other folk had had the same idea - and abandoned ours too.

People lined the streets, grinning with pride and excitement. Soaking with the Scottish rain. Then the clouds cleared, the sun came out, and big red bus arrived. Andy was incredibly patient and stopped to sign everything and anything, take photos and shake hands.
