A little break

in our long drive. We started early as we knew that it was going to be a hot day. We were not disappointed: Temps in the high eighties made for a warm drive. Here we found a surprisingly fresh looking little meadow in the forest, that was otherwise mainly dried out pretty badly. Little yellow flowers covered the muddy ground - a left over from all those flat lakes that the winter had created.
