Black headed gull

 At least I presume it is even though its head looks very brown to me.
I went down to the promenade on the River Thames today and realised that I hadn't been there for a long time. Very few people were promenading, preferring to lie down and sunbathe. I went to sit on one of the empty benches but after 30 seconds realised that the seat was so hot I was burning through my dress. I joined the others on the grass!
